Interviewer: So tell us about this new company. What is something that our audience needs to know about what you’re bringing to market?
David Gray: Well, everybody talks about connectivity. But what they don’t talk about is price. And price is really important to people. So, I’ve always tried to find a low-cost solution, and we have a low-cost solution, but yet we are full-featured. We have email, talk, and text at about a tenth of the price of what an internet solution, or an Inmarsat-type solution would be.
So again, it was my customers that asked for this, and then we came out with it and it’s matured and it’s, you know, worldwide. In 10 seconds, I can touch an airplane anywhere in the world in 10 seconds. And that’s huge. And that’s what we expect in this day and age.
Interviewer: Right, absolutely. So do you have a certain list of manufacturers that you’re certified on, or can you be on any airframe?
David Gray: We can be on any airframe. We’re on everything. We just recently did a, uh, Boeing 737-800. But we’re down to a Cirrus. You know, I used to fly it in my RV-10. So it works on any airplane.
