SEND General Manager Jonathan Pinson took the stage at the 2026 Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) convention in Dallas to introduce a packed lineup of new products and updates. From a completely rebuilt 3D moving map engine to a new cabin management system, this year’s announcements signal a major step forward for the company’s cabin entertainment, connectivity, and control products.

Company Update
Pinson opened with a quick overview of where SEND stands heading into 2026. The company now has over 2,000 customers flying with their cabin entertainment and connectivity products. Parts are in stock with same-day shipping, and additional personnel and resources have been brought on over the past year to support continued growth.

The Easiest Cabin Moving Map to Install
SEND continues to position its moving map solution as the simplest in the industry to install. The entire system requires just three components: an Airtext+ or Oasis moving map CPU processor, a display kit, and a TSO USB charger from True Blue Power. For shops and operators looking for a straightforward upgrade path, this minimal hardware footprint keeps installation time and cost low.
New 3D Moving Map Engine
The biggest product announcement this year is SEND’s rebuilt 3D moving map engine. The new engine renders full 3D terrain with multiple viewing angles, giving passengers and pilots a far more immersive look at the flight path.
The engine is now cross-platform, running on iOS, Android, embedded systems, and accessible via the web. It supports secure customization, so operators can display their aircraft’s paint scheme, custom logos, and personalized welcome messages on the map. Both fixed-wing and rotorcraft configurations are available.
New 14.6-Inch Premium OLED Display
SEND also announced a new 14.6-inch premium moving map display kit featuring an Ultra HD OLED panel. The display is remarkably thin at less than half an inch (0.45 inches) and is compatible with both the Airtext moving map and the Oasis IFE system.
The kit is FAA approved, in stock, and shipping now at a $7,000 list price. As one dealer put it: if you’re not installing SEND’s map and OLED displays, you’re leaving money on the table. The installation can be completed in a matter of weeks during routine maintenance downtime, not months.
Oasis CMS: Cabin Management System
The other major announcement at AEA 2026 is Oasis CMS, a new cabin management system built on top of the existing Oasis IFE platform. The Oasis IFE acts as the backbone, enabling wireless control from passengers’ personal devices. Oasis CMS extends that control to physical interfaces at the seats.
Cabin Interface Node
The Cabin Interface Node handles the heavy lifting for Oasis CMS. It features 16 solid-state drivers rated at up to 4 amps each, along with potentiometers, digital inputs, and serial interfaces. The node can be controlled wirelessly through Oasis or wired through SEND’s new switch panels.
3.5-Inch VIP Controller
The new 3.5-inch VIP controller is an IPS capacitive touch screen with 4 solid-state drivers and serial communications interfaces. It supports both wireless control through Oasis and direct local load control at the seat.
1.5-Inch Touch Switches
SEND is also introducing a new series of 1.5-inch IPS capacitive touch switches available in single, dual, and triple configurations. These compact switches offer digital inputs, local load control, and serial interfaces. They support both single-function operation and multi-menu navigation, making them a practical choice when there’s limited real estate for a larger switch panel.
Oasis IFE Updates
SEND continues to evolve the Oasis IFE product line. A new PMA version has been developed specifically for legacy hardware moving map interfaces, supporting both composite and HDMI video output. The Oasis IFE now runs the new 3D moving map engine and supports the CMS functionality announced at the show.
Two new PMA versions of Oasis IFE received certification in February 2026, expanding the system’s compatibility with existing aircraft installations.
Airtext Connectivity
Airtext remains a strong option for operators who need worldwide coverage without high recurring costs. The system provides text, talk, email, WhatsApp, and moving map functionality anywhere in the world via Iridium satellite. Service starts at $500 per year, and installation is straightforward.
Looking Ahead
Pinson closed with a hint at what’s next for SEND. The company sees demand from its customer base for a scalable solution with worldwide broadband coverage, a reduced CPU and antenna footprint, and lower pricing. While details were light, operators looking for more were invited to stop by SEND’s booth during the show for a closer look.
